Description
Vilmart & Cies history dates back to 1890, when Dsir Vilmart began producing wine from estate-grown fruit. Today, the estate is comprised of 11 hectares, all of which are located within the Montagne de Reims. No herbicides or chemical fertilizers are ever used, and organic/sustainable viticulture is encouraged. Their Cuve Rubis Ros is made from 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, disgorged in November 2016. The wine shows flavors of pulpy red fruit, fresh herbs, and lightly toasted bread, marked by a fine mousse and thirst-quenching acidity.
