Description
Rudi Pichlers family has tended vines in the Wachau since 1731, dominated by Gruner Veltliner and Riesling. Rudi took over in 1997, farming the familys 15 hectares of south-facing terraced vines with a wine caretaker, not winemaker philosophy, creating pure, energetic wines. Federspiel shows lifted aromatics of citrus, tart apple, and green leaves, pairing perfectly with salads, seafoods, and white meat.
