Description
Founded in 1796, Paitin winery is one of the oldest estates in all of Barbaresco. All vines are farmed organically with some biodynamic principles implemented, and long macerations/aging times are executed in the cellar. Fruit for Serraboella grows in calcareous white clay soils on steep southwest facing hills. Notes of crunchy red fruit, sour cherry, blood orange zest, and menthol dominate this racy and well-integrated palate. This is hands-down one of our top picks for delicious, high-quality Barbaresco.
