Founded in 1842, Dirk Niepoort now represents the fifth-generation of his familys namesake estate. He and his sister vinify 11 wines using traditional vinification techniques, which lead to terroir-reflective and insanely delicious final wines. Produced from a handful of indigenous whitePortuguese varieties, this light and fizzy pt-nat is almost too easy to drink. Notes of citrus, pithy stone fruit, and crunch green apples dominate the wines high acid palate. Tangy and fruit-forward, this crisp and clean wine is perfect for picnics, park days, and weekend lunches beneath the sun.
