Description
Inspired by the natural wine community of the Jura, Goyo began his namesake project in 2003 and farms three single-plots in Ribera del Duero. Harvests are done early to preserve acidity, and red and white grapes are co-fermented together. Fruit for this delicious wine comes from 35-year-old vines and is destemmed, fermented with native yeasts, and aged in steel. Notes of red and black fruit, violets, earth spice, and smoked meat dominate this savory yet juicy palate.
