Description
Juice from famed Piedmont producer Giacomo Bologna? Count. Us. In. Bricco dellUccellone gets its name from the vineyards neighbor, a woman always dressed in black (nicknamed luselun, or big bird.) This varietal Barbera is juicy and fresh, aged for 15 months in large oak barrels, then 12 months in bottle. Red berries and spice dominate the nose, giving way to a luscious palate full of concentrated yet balanced flavors. Serve with roasted meats or ragu.
