Zarate has been pioneering top-tier, age-worthy Albarino since the mid-20th century, with Ernesto Zarate creating the regions annual Albarino Festival back in 1953. Now operated by their 7th generation, the winery continues to cultivate old vines and create fresh, balanced wines. Their 2017 Albarino comes from 35 year old vines, aged six months on fine lees. Mineral-driven, saline tinged, and full of zesty lemon flavors.
